“A Passion For Purity” Advice Contest
Being a father of four little ones, I’m always interested in hearing other people’s parental advice. I mean, who wants to mess their kids up simply because they don’t know what they are doing? Well, right now, with a nine year old daughter and three siblings behind her, I’m very interested in how to teach them about purity. So let us have it! Zuzu’s Petals Music Video Contest
Download the free Zuzu’s Petals promo MP3 and then make your own music video. Record yourself performing it at the piano, make up a song, get your kids to do an interpretive dance, animate it, speed it up, slow it down, play it in reverse, remix it for the dance floor…WHATEVER! Be creative and enter it into the contest here! Just remember, this is a family friendly site so keep the videos G-rated.

WE ARE ZUZU! Photo Contest
While composing the music for my new piano CD, my little girls would dress up in their princess costumes, pull up the entry rug, and dance together on the tile floor. It was pure, it was innocent, it was fun! Listen and visualize the scene.

It reminded me of a scene in the famous Jimmy Stewart movie, It’s A Wonderful Life, where little Zuzu explained to her Daddy why she didn’t wear her coat in the rain–to protect her precious flower petals. To her they were so precious that she did whatever it took to protect them from damage. Later in the movie, they became a reminder to show Daddy what was REALLY important in life.
This album is about innocence and purity. Those are Zuzu’s petals. My little girls are Zuzu! Join me in raising young ladies willing to say, “WE ARE ZUZU!”

Zuzu’s Petals CD – $14.95
John Albert Thomas began composing original, melody-based piano works when he was 12 years old. His compositions have the simplicity and thinly-layered delicacy of Mozart, combined with a contemporary sound reminiscent of Enya, George Winston, and Jim Brickman. In 1995, John graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, with a bachelors degree in Music Theory and Composition. Upon graduation he moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he now lives with his wife, Rebecca, and their four children. John has released several solo piano albums, and continues his work on future projects.
