Three Reasons Why This Friday Is Good

First, and the most obvious…my eldest daughter is turning 11. Being a parent of a pre-teen is good, right??? Ok, not so obvious.
Second, and more obvious…2K years ago the most controversial man in history, Jesus, was crucified for claiming to be God, and then proved his claim by raising himself from the dead on the third day as promised. In the days that followed, He appeared to more than 500 people and the good news has spread till this very day. One good thing about that…He gave us the hope of resurrection and everlasting life.
Third, and least obvious…two years of hard work is culminating in the release of my new solo piano CD, Now I Sleep! Come back this Friday, April 22 for the official release!
A Weight Lifted

This past Friday marked the culmination of almost two years worth of work–I dropped off the Now I Sleep CD to the manufacturer for duplication. A huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Sure, I have to ship the CDs to my Kickstarter donors and to those who preordered it, but the design is complete, the music recorded, and my fourth musical baby is about to be born.
This particular project came with a tremendous emotional weight considering the subject matter–the death of unborn and newborn babies. I took very seriously each family, each baby, each story, and each song that culminated in this album. The net result, I believe, is a sacred album. It is an album born of prayer from a heart desperately seeking God’s direction.
During the past two years I have had one main goal–faithfully administer God’s peace and healing to the ten families whom He brought to me for this project. I will leave it to them to determine how successful I was in achieving that goal. I do believe that God inspired this album and am firmly convinced that He will use it to bring peace and healing to many who suffer such loss. In the end, He will be glorified and they will be blessed.
Come back April 22 to download your copy of Now I Sleep. I know you will be blessed.
