Here’s what Dan had to say after John composed a piano work in honor of his wife, Joanne:

What about your wife? What does her music sound like?
It starts with a 20-minute interview where I listen intently to you or your wife tell about her passions, her memories, her hopes and dreams. Then,
- I craft a 3-5 minute piano composition to reflect those ideas and emotions.
- I send to you a copy of the piano music and the text for your approval.
- Once you approve, CD production begins at the manufacturer.
- When the CDs arrive, my wife Becky (because she so good at it!) will carefully gift-wrap two copies of the custom-designed CD in a black box that you can give directly to your wife.
Now, how are you going to prove to everyone that SHE is the inspiration behind the song?
Dan Miller mentioned a framed CD. The complete package comes with a stunning, professionally-framed copy of the CD, signed by the composer as proof that SHE is the inspiration for the piano work. Only one person ever receives a framed CD per piano portrait.
