“When she sees a need, she goes after it hard.”
That is something that Colin Neller deeply admires about his wife Eden.
He told me about her incredible loving spirit, seeking the heart of those who feel unappreciated and offering them loyal friendship. He spoke of her strength of will to always do the right thing. Everything she touches becomes more beautiful. She cherishes the creativity of those she loves.
Eden Neller thrives on adventure. She has lived in Canada, Papua New Guinea, Ukraine, and even on a Native American reservation, before settling with her husband near Memphis, Tennessee in the United States, where they enjoy the great adventure of raising two beautiful daughters.
The oldest of nine children, Eden grew up in a preacher’s home filled with many spontaneous acts of generosity and kindness. After Ukraine opened up to religious liberty, they quickly moved there to bring Bibles to those who were hungry to learn about Jesus. It came at a great cost, though, as she and her family endured a traumatic health scare, which later became like glue bonding them together.
Eden loves happy, satisfying, sappy endings, but I hope this song will be an unending reminder her of the deep, abiding love of her husband, who wanted to honor her in this way.
